Nobody makes better fish and chips, coleslaw, or cedar plank salmon than this place. Was there on Tuesday and I was in Heaven. Never been disappointed. Great atmosphere, great service, great food. Worth the trip across Lions Gate Bridge. Will be back very, very soon.

Kim,
I’m so impressed! Probably the best seafood I’ve ever eaten. Everything cooked to perfection (others always overcook prawns!). Crème Bruleè to die for!

Dear Kim Hurford VanSickle:
On behalf of the Vancouver Aquarium and the Toast to the Coast Committee, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you for supporting Toast to the Coast 2010 with a donation to our Raffle and Silent Auction.
Toast to the Coast is an annual event that reflects the Aquarium's mission to effect the conservation of aquatic life. On Friday October 22nd, we had 500 guests join us for a fabulous evening celebrating local food and wines and raised over $60,000 in support of Aquarium conservation and education initiatives.
Attendees sampled creative culinary fare from Vancouver-area restaurants that participate in the Aquarium's Ocean Wise program. The Ocean Wise program raises consumer awareness of sustainable seafood practices. Guests were also treated to a wide range of wines from B.C. wineries.
I hope that you feel as proud as we do about the accomplishments you have helped us to achieve. Thank you again for your generous support of this event.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Paley
Manager, Annual Giving

I envy people on the North shore having you so close. My friend (West Vancouver resident) and I used to make it a bi-monthly (at least) lunch and 'spoiling' ourselves, visit to your facility. Your servings were exquisite and we were unanimous in agreeing with the superb reputation you enjoy.
The sorrowful, irreparable loss of my dear lady friend will curtail my visits, however, rest assured that you have a client who will strongly recommend the extremely high quality of your gourmet food.
Although it means a two hour drive for me I still intend spoiling myself when circumstances permit.
Thank you for your communiqués keeping me up to date with changes and congratulations on the excellent reviews you so richly deserve.
Sincerely,
Jack

Kim:
I just wanted to let you see this comment from a client that I took to lunch the other day. It is not as if this man doesn't go to many restaurants but throughout our whole meal, this is what he kept saying. He lives in the Westside but said he'd come over for more meals.
As always, I think you and your team do a great job and are a HUGE plus to the Village.
Regards,
Ken

“Congratulations my dear Kim! You do make the difference. And as I always said: "It is in the difference that you will make the difference" and only then, people will notice you. And Dear! You got it! It is always a pleasure for me to go eat at your restaurant and enjoy all the variety of meal you serve. And now with this wonderful selection of sauce you have done. A big thank you to share your secret to us.
I did try most of the Simple Sauce Collection you created and enjoy it so much. The marinades are so wonderful and bring just enough character to the fish or seafood to make you feel to have an additional bite.
All vinaigrettes are so distinct in their taste. My favorite one is the Modest Miso. I will even make a special trip just to get it. It is becoming a need to have this vinaigrette on my salad.
Thank you Kim to make me discover your passion and have a taste of it. You have such a beautiful personality and always do such a wonderful work and it does reflect in your achievement, in everything you touch. You are the reason why your restaurant is so successful and your Simply Sauce Collection does make the difference with it's exclusive taste exactly as you.

Hello Kim, it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the teriyaki salmon fillet lunch - it was wonderful! One of my friends advised me that she also is a fan of your market and now I know why. We’re setting a lunch date at your restaurant fairly soon....
Thank you again for your generous hospitality!
Best regards,
Don

Hi Kim, I was on the ground in Vancouver for 16 hours last trip and a trip to your restaurant was definitely a top priority! Dundarave Fish Market really is my favourite restaurant in Vancouver - for me no trip to Vancouver is complete without a visit (or two or three or four...) to DFM. I know I'll get the same great combination of the freshest seafood, unpretentious service and neighborhood
familiarity every time. It's like going over to a good friend's house who also happens to be a great fisherman AND the best chef in town!"
Rhys.

Canadian Red Cross - 2010
Dear Kim,
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for your generous support of the Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree. The evening was a sold-out success and raised funds and awareness for World Red Cross Day and the local Red Cross Disaster Management Program. Thanks to your charitable donation, the silent auction was a huge hit at the event and helped us to reach our fundraising goals.
On any given day, thousands of Lower Mainland citizens are touched by Red Cross and the programs we deliver. This year we highlighted the local Red Cross Disaster Management Program and how it responds to community needs during times of crisis through direct services such as providing support, hygiene kits and blankets; family reunification service; critical information dissemination to the public through the TELUS Red Cross Call Centre; and coordination with all levels of government, local authorities, communities and other relief organizations to address outstanding client needs. Because of your generosity, we were able to raise thousands of dollars to support this local program and its foundation of preparedness, response and recovery.
We look forward to partnering with you again at the 4th annual Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree, a time when we will gather once again to celebrate the power of humanity and all that we can accomplish together as a community. Until then, we invite you to peruse this year's event highlights in the Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree photo gallery at www.rcsoiree.com or, visit www.redcross.ca/lowermainland for more information on our local programs and services.
Thank you once again for your generosity and community leadership, and just as importantly, your friendship. Know that with your contribution, you are truly making a difference in helping to build a stronger, informed and more caring community. We are proud to have you as our partner in this important endeavor.
Sincerely,
Linda Low - Co-chair, Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree
